The Bibles Cornerstone:

Genesis chapter 12 is the cornerstone of the Bible.

It is here that God selects a man by the name of Abram (Abraham),
and enters into an eternal, unconditional covenant with him,
his descendents…
that would include all the rest of mankind.

Here is another observation from Paul Benware
in A Survey of the Old Testament,
that is foundational to the heart of God:
to be in covenant relationship with all men.

God says,
“I will be their God,
they will be My people,
and I will dwell amongst them.” Exodus 29:46

This is the reassuring call of God’s heart
throughout the scriptures toward all of mankind.
