Seven Things God Loves Part 6

Seven things God Loves:

“The vigor of our spiritual life will be in exact proportion
to the place held by the Bible in our life and thoughts.”
George Müller

Part 6: We respond to Jesus’ mandate
to change the world around us.

There are seven things God loves:
1. A people who are Presence Led
2. Those who live in Settled Confidence
3. People who fulfill their call to His purposes in ministry
4. Those who walk together in freedom as children of God
5. Those who walk with God and each other in covenant relationship
6. Those who respond to the mandate
to change the world for Christ

7. Those who raise the next generation to live for the Lord.

Jesus’ desire is to see the whole world following after Him,
and walking uprightly in His kingdom.

“Then Jesus came to them and said,
‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”
Matthew 28:18-20 NIV

1. We have been called and anointed by Jesus
to influence every facet of society

(i.e., the 7 Mountains or 7
Mind-molders of society)

“The Lord will make you the head and not the tail.
If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God
that I give you this day and carefully follow them,
you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.”

Deuteronomy 28:13 NIV
2. We have been called and anointed
with a “pioneer spirit,”
serving His purposes as a company of “forerunners,”
a “point of the spear” ministry
piercing the heavens on behalf of the wider body of Christ.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses
in Jerusalem, and Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8 NIV

3. We live, give, and serve beyond ourselves;
seeking to build up and co-labor
with the regional
and international body of Christ.

“Serve wholeheartedly,
as if you were serving the Lord, not men,
because you know that the Lord will reward everyone
for whatever good he does, whether slave of free.”

Ephesians 6:7 NIV

4. We will train, equip, and release people to minister
in and change the climate
of every realm of their sphere of influence.

“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets,
some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers
to prepare God’s people for the works of service,
so that the body of Christ may be built up
until we all reach unity in the faith
and in knowledge of the Son of God
and become mature,
attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

Ephesians 4:11-13 NIV
